Franz Schiftan

Franz Schiftan (born June 1, 1870 in Breslau , † October 17, 1936 in Berlin ) was a German farmer and politician ( DVP ).

Life and work

Schiftan had been working as a farmer since 1888, later switched to the Prussian civil service and was appointed to the economic council. During the First World War he worked as an agricultural expert at the High Command East, as head of administration in Warsaw and as an official in the Prussian War Ministry.

Schiftan was a member of the Prussian Landtag from 1928 to 1932 .
