The Battle of Sidi Brahim was a battle at Sidi Brahim during the French colonial rule in Algeria between Berber forces led by Abd al-Qadir and French units led by Lieutenant Colonel Lucien de Montagnac from September 22 to 25, 1845.

The French troops of 450 soldiers faced 10,000 Berbers. In the first battle, the colonial troops were reduced to 82. Only a handful of French soldiers were able to save themselves. French historiography emphasizes the courage of the soldiers in this battle.
