Schleinzerkreuz

The Schleinzer Kreuz is a stone wayside shrine containing a crucifix , with a small chapel in front of it, which consists only of a gable roof on wooden stands. The place of prayer belongs to the parish church of the Assumption of Mary in Walpersbach . The name has also passed to the Rotte Schleinzerkreuz in the Walpersbach community.

The chapel was donated in 1800 by Count Hoyos from Schloss Frohsdorf . The wayside shrine and the wooden chapel were faithfully renewed in 2000 and 2001.
