The Brunn Castle stands in the district Brunn an der Schneebergbahn the market town of Bad Fischau-Brunn am Schlossplatz first

The castle as a three-wing two-storey complex with a striking round tower is a former moated castle from the 14th century, which was owned by the Teuffenbach and became a fiefdom of the dukes of Styria in the 15th century . In the 16th and 17th centuries it belonged to the Rappach family , in the 18th century it belonged to Count Palm and the Eissner von und zu Eisenstein family .

After a fire, the palace was rebuilt between 1708 and 1711 by Prince Paul I Esterházy and a garden was created instead of the moat. Parts of a horse chestnut avenue have been preserved. The interior was burned in 1945.
