history

Hohenliebenthal Castle ( Polish : Pałac w Lubiechowej ) is a ruinous castle building in Lubiechowa ( Hohenliebenthal ) in the rural municipality of Świerzawa ( Schönau an der Katzbach ) in the powiat Złotoryjski ( Goldberg district ) in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland .

The castle was built at the beginning of the 16th century for the Badgers from Polsnitz. In the 19th century it was converted into a granary .

The building has a crippled hipped roof , the roof structure of which probably dates from the construction period in the 16th century, and the interior of the building has pointed and shoulder arches typical of the construction period .
