Radmannsdorf Castle

The Radmannsdorf Castle (also: Ratmannsdorf Castle ) is located in the district town of Weiz in Styria .

The castle was built by Otto von Radmannsdorf from 1555 to 1565. From 1623 to 1773 the castle was used by the Jesuit order. In 1782, Count Khevenhüller-Metsch von Thannhausen acquired the castle. From 1842 to 1858 the building was used as a military cadet school. From 1859 the castle was owned by the municipality of Weiz, today it belongs to the BIG and is the seat of the Weiz District Court.
