The castle of Bābak ( Persian قلعهٔ بابک, DMG Qal'e-ye Bābak ) was built around 810 and was the base of the Bābak Khorramdin , who lived there from 798 to 838 and conquered large parts of Iran .

The fortress is a listed building and is located in the valley of the Bābak ( Persian درهٔ بابک, DMG Darre-ye Bābak ) in northern Iran.
