Screw kneader

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A screw kneader is an apparatus that mixes several raw materials into a paste and kneads them at the same time. It usually consists of several transport zones in which the screw drives the material to be mixed and a kneading zone with several eccentrically attached kneading disks. With the screw kneader, the mass to be processed is kneaded without being discharged, as with a screw conveyor .
