The Schopenhauer Forest is a seven-hectare forest in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Neubiberg . The forest has a west-east extension of around 600 meters, from north to south it measures between 100 and 150 meters. It is the second largest forest in the municipality. While the larger Bahnhofswald is located on both the territory of Neubiberg and the neighboring municipality of Ottobrunn to the south , the Schopenhauer Forest belongs entirely to Neubiberg. The administrative border with Munich-Waldperlach also runs along the northern tree line . It forms a small but nearby recreational area for the majority of the residents of Neubiberg and also forest perlachs. The Elisabeth chapel is in the western part of the forest. In the middle part there is a children's playground.

In spring 2017, in a three-week felling campaign by the Bavarian State Forests, around 30% of the tree population in the Schopenhauer Forest was felled due to massive damage from drought and ash dieback.
