Scraper

A scraper is a musical instrument that has existed since the Stone Age . It is a piece of wood or bone that has grooves cut into it. Noises can be generated by scratching ( scraping ) the surface with a stick or plate. A modern version (with a sound box ) is the Güiro ("Sambagurke").
