Document catalog

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The written material catalog (also: written material directory ) is a listing of all written material occurring in an administrative or organizational unit as a type of document, with information on their storage and deadlines (reference to legal regulations and value levels, so that double and multiple filing are avoided). The creation of a document catalog is facilitated by special entry forms.

Basically, two categories can be distinguished in the structure:

  • 1. Operational needs
  • 2. Statutory Regulations
