Schuhhof is a German shoe retail company with 30 branches.

history

The company was founded in 1968 by Guy de Raucourt and opened its first branch in Kehl / Rhein. After growing to 22 branches in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, the company was acquired by Christian Bahner in 1989. After reunification, expansion into the new federal states began in 1990, initially in Bautzen and Dresden. In 1994 the Herto chain with 35 locations was acquired, and in 1999 a further 74 East German branches were added with Schuh-Neumann. In 2005 the flagship branch " Neues Kranzler Eck " was opened with over 1500 m² of sales area on two floors in Joachimstaler Strasse / Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. In 2008, on the 40th anniversary of the company's 40th anniversary, the new Carl Stiller sales format was introduced.
