Schuivenhuisje
The Schuivenhuisje (from the left: sliding house , also called Dinkelhuisje ) is a weir in Denekamp in the Dutch province of Overijssel .
The Schuivenhuisje has a length of about 15 meters and is quite narrow at about 1.5 meters. It was built in 1887 and has the status of a Rijksmonument .
The water regulation for the Nordhorn-Almelo Canal was implemented via the Schuivenhuisje . When shipping on this canal was stopped in 1960, it lost its function. A thorough restoration took place in 2005.
