Weak charge

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term “ weak charge” is used inconsistently in the literature and is used depending on the author

In the standard model , the weak interaction results from the electroweak symmetry breaking . According to the Fabri-Picasso theorem , however, there are no charges for broken symmetries. The weak isospin is the charge of the weak interaction in the unbroken phase.
