Black clouds (original title: Czarne chmury ) was a Polish television series from the coat-and-sword genre.

action

The young and daring Colonel of the Dragoons , Dowgird, resigns from his service with Elector Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg because he does not agree with his policy against the Polish crown. Together with his sergeant, Caspar Pilch, he goes to Warsaw to report on the situation there. This trip will be a life-threatening undertaking for him. When he arrived in Warsaw, he was kidnapped by the Prussian troops.

The role of Colonel Dowgird is based on the historical person Christian Ludwig von Kalckstein .
