Welding trough
Welding channels are two depressions on the body surface in the area of the trunk . A distinction is made between the front and the rear welding channel. The front sweat channel is located above the breastbone and is laterally limited by the large pectoral muscles . The back sweat ridge lies between the shoulder blades and lower down from the back muscles . Both sweat channels have an increased density of sweat glands . The sweat troughs are of medical relevance as a predilection for seborrheic eczema .
