Swiss dance and choreography award

The Swiss Dance and Choreography Prize was the most important award for artistic dance in Switzerland for ten years (2002–2011) .

The prize was awarded annually by the Corymbo Foundation in collaboration with the Pro Tanz association and was endowed with CHF 30,000. The award recognized the achievements of personalities from the Swiss dance scene who have promoted dance in Switzerland for several years. With the new Culture Promotion Act of 2012, the federal government takes on this task. The Swiss Dance Awards will be awarded every two years from 2013.
