Swiss Lyric Society
The Swiss Lyrical Society , also known as Pro Lyrica , is a Swiss literary society .
The organization was founded in 1988 as the PRO LYRICA Foundation in order to give modern poetry, predominantly in German-speaking Switzerland, and partly in the other national languages and dialects of Switzerland, a greater reach. It has been constituted as an association since 1995 and its office is in Winterthur . It maintains online documentation on poets active in Switzerland . She supports them with the organization of poetry events and with the publication of their works.
As a literary publisher, Pro Lyrica publishes a number of its own publications. These include poetry volumes, the poetry calendar and anthologies with poems from different parts of Switzerland.
