Joseph Frobes
Joseph Fröbes SJ (born August 26, 1866 in Betzdorf ; † March 24, 1947 in Cologne ) was a German Roman Catholic priest, philosopher and psychologist.
Life
He entered the Jesuit order in 1882 and studied philosophy and theology in Valkeberg , later in Göttingen under Georg Elias Müller . From 1890 to 1894 he was a high school teacher. In 1899 he received a professorship for philosophy at the Ignatiuskolleg (Valkenburg) and, under the influence of Müller, specialized in the field of experimental and philosophical psychology.
