The Swiss Action Committee for Women's Suffrage was founded in 1945 . Not only numerous women's associations were involved in the founding, but also men's political organizations. The declared aim of the Action Committee was to prepare the ground for a national women's suffrage through propaganda, action centers and civic education for women.
