With emerging Cross ( Stufenkreuz , paragraph Cross , Season Cross or columns Cross ) which designates Heraldry a cross with step-like cross arm ends.

In heraldry, the representation as a common figure and as a herald image is possible. Broadly speaking, it includes all crosses that stand with the lower arm on a stepped pedestal , regardless of the design of the other cross arms.

A cross with a step on the four arms is also called this. Such a cross is also called a Byzantine cross . This term is not always used clearly in the literature.
