Heavy transport attendant
A heavy haulage attendant in Germany is a companion trained by the Federal Specialist Group Heavy Haulage and Crane Work (BSK) who uses a specially equipped support vehicle to protect road users from heavy haulage with unusual dimensions (e.g. excess length, excess width, excess weight). The BF3 interest group (third generation escort vehicle) exists for the heavy transport escorts to exchange experiences.
