The Screaming Blue Messiahs were a band formed in London in 1983 by Bill Carter (vocals and guitar), Chris Thompson (bass) and Kenny Harris (drums). Her music style combines elements from blues , country , punk and rockabilly . Forerunner bands were The Small Brothers and Motor Boys Motor . Their first LP, the mini-album Good and Gone , stayed in the independent charts for six months straight. They released three albums on major labels and had a UK top 40 single ( I wanna be a flintstone , # 28 in 1987). After the third album they were dropped from their record company and broke up a short time later.
