Searching for a Reply is a German rock and rock 'n' roll band founded in 2012 in Bavaria , Germany by Patrick Fuchs, Markus Maier and David Peterhansl.
history
The band was founded in 2012 by Patrick Fuchs, Markus Maier and David Peterhansl. For four years the musicians toured in groups of three in smaller pubs and bars, until they were supplemented by guitarist Tobias Friedrichs in December 2016.
In March 2017 the band released their first single, Golden Shot, with a music video in collaboration with the production company "The Bommel". The single was released on the Spinnup / Universal label. A short time later David Peterhansl left the band due to his move. Sebastian Bauer took over his place in the band as bassist and background singer.
In April 2019 Searching for a Reply released their debut EP Lost Directions with five songs, also produced by "The Bommel". A music video was released for one song on the record, Rule , at the same time. The EP is distributed by Spinnup / Universal.
In September 2019 the guitarist Johannes Späth was added to the band. The band played 104 gigs by the end of 2019, all previously published tour dates 2020 have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic . In January 2020, a music video for the song The Secret Song was released in collaboration with the fire dance group Evalina .
