Career

The midfielder Marroche, who came from Artigas , played at club level from 1916 to 1920 for the Reformers Football Club . In 1920 he moved to Nacional Montevideo , for which he competed in the Primera División in 1921 .

National team

Marroche was a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He was a member of the Celeste squad at the South American Championship in Chile in 1920 , when Uruguay won the title. In the course of the tournament, however, he did not play a game. He also took part in the South American Championship in Argentina in 1921 , where he was in the starting line-up for the game against Paraguay.
