SecondRadio
SecondRadio is a radio station that started as web radio in June 2010 .
history
The broadcast started on June 5, 2010 in Berlin.
The idea of founding arose in the virtual world Second Life . Accordingly, the first claim was related to the virtual world: "Your 2nd life live on the radio".
A few years later, however, they broke away from the virtual world of Second Life and geared their program to the general public. The claim was adjusted accordingly: "SecondRadio - From the web straight into life".
Since SecondRadio can no longer only be heard on the web, but also via DAB + since January 2018 , it was decided in July 2019 to change the SecondRadio claim again to "SecondRadio - Your Music Your Life".

SecondRadio's genre is very diverse. In addition to pop, rock and the latest music, SecondRadio also offers classical music every four weeks on Sundays.
In cooperation with the Leipzig children's program Adventure with KESS, there is a separate program for children every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

SecondRadio can be received worldwide on the World Wide Web .
SecondRadio is now fed into over 769,000 households in the digital cable network of Pyur in Saxony . Since January 31, 2018, SecondRadio can be heard on DAB + in the Freiberg urban area (Block 10D) and Leipzig urban area (Block 6C).
