Second Voice was a German electro wave band from Goslar , Lower Saxony .

history

Second Voice was founded in 1985 and was active until 1993. From this point onwards, only various titles followed on samplers without the band releasing separate albums.

When it was founded, Second Voice consisted of the members Guido Fricke (keyboards), Ingo Weihe (keyboards, guitar) and shortly afterwards Thomas Franzmann (vocals). In 1987 the keyboardist Christian Scholze replaced the previous founding member Ingo Weihe.

The first demo release in 1986 was the tape "Trog". In 1987 the demo tape "Restlessness" followed, in 1988 "Perpetuate" and in 1989 another, "A Strange Day's DAWN".

Even years after its breakup, Second Voice was seen as a trendsetter in the scene, not least because of the hit "Celebrate Our Death", which quickly made the band known outside of Europe.
