Sea battle at Cape St. Vincent
Sea battle at Cape St. Vincent describes three sea battles that took place at Cape St. Vincent on the south coast of Portugal near the Strait of Gibraltar :
- between the Spanish and Dutch Fotte on June 16 or October 6, 1606 during the Eighty Years War
- between the Spanish and Dutch Fotte on November 4, 1641 during the Eighty Years War
- between the British and Spanish fleets on January 16, 1780 in the North American War of Independence, see Battle of Cape St. Vincent (1780)
- between the British and Spanish fleets on February 14, 1797 in the First Coalition War, see Battle of Cape St. Vincent (1797)
