The Seferihisar Dam ( Turkish Seferihisar Barajı ) is a dam on the Yassı Çayı, a tributary of the Aegean Sea , in the province of İzmir in northwestern Turkey .
The Seferihisar dam is located 6 km east of the city of Seferihisar in the hinterland of the coast. It was built in 1987-1994 to irrigate an area of 1200 ha. The barrier structure is a 54 m high earth-stone rubble dam. The dam volume is 1.5 million m³. The reservoir covers an area of 80 ha with normal back-up. The storage space is 29.1 million m³.
