The Peter Herres sparkling wine brand GmbH is a German beverage manufacturer. The company based in Trier produces and sells sparkling wine , sparkling wine , sparkling wine , alcoholic mixed drinks and non-alcoholic drinks with around 140 employees .

history

The company was founded in Leiwen on the Moselle in 1954 and moved to Trier in 1959 to its current location on Rudolf-Diesel-Straße. From the end of the 1960s, the company entered the export business and expanded it continuously in the years that followed. In 1991 the world's largest sparkling wine bottling plant was put into operation and three years later Keller Geister GmbH & Co. KG was taken over.

In 2007 the company was restructured into the Herres Group International and in 2009 the company was expanded to include a fourth filling line. In summer 2015, a new finished goods warehouse and another filling line were put into operation.

Products

In addition to classic sparkling wine in various versions, the Herres sparkling wine cellar also produces sparkling wine, various cocktails, premixes, non-alcoholic drinks and wellness drinks.
