Keller Geister is a sparkling wine brand from Keller Geister GmbH & Co. KG. This belongs to the Peter Herres Wein- und Sektkellerei GmbH in Trier. The drink is sold as a semi-dry sparkling wine under the name Keller Geister Gold Extra . Keller Geister is considered to be the most famous sparkling wine on the German market.

The brand achieved great fame in the late 1970s and 1980s through massive television advertising . This was underlaid with Symphony No. 39 in E flat major, K. 543 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart . The brand's mascot is a little devil with a champagne glass in his hand and a green sash around his body.

The drink was first filled into green glass bottles with crown caps . The label showed a Franciscan at the tasting and two little devils in the wine cellar. The design of the label was very baroque with a lot of gold and decorations. Today the bottle is made of clear glass and the label shows two celebrating mascots. The design is more sober and no longer overloaded with gold printing and decorations like the old bottle. The drink is advertised as "Funny Wine".
