Secondary food allergy

A secondary or associated food allergy is a food allergy (LMA), by immunological cross-reactions after previous, ie primary sensitization to inhalation - allergens originated. In contrast to real food allergens, these secondary allergens are class 2 food allergens.

While children are primarily affected by the primary food allergy, the secondary is mainly adolescents and adults.
