The Semmelweis Museum of Medical History ( Hungarian. Semmelweis Orvostörténeti Múzeum ) is for the doctor Ignaz Semmelweis named Museum of Medical History in Budapest . It is located in the house where he was born and houses a collection on the history of healing methods and instruments. The museum also houses a collection of colored anatomical wax models, something from the workshop of Felice Fontana and Clemente Susini. The Semmelweis Library and Archive for the History of Medicine ( Semmelweis Orvostörténeti Könyvtár és Levéltár ) is also located in Budapest .
