Przebędowo transmitter

The transmitter Przebędowo (Polish: RON Przebędowo , also RON Trojanowo ) was the medium-wave transmitter of the transmitter Poznan in Poland and was located northwest of Przebędowo at 52 ° 35 ′ 15 ″  N , 16 ° 59 ′ 20 ″  E , about 15 kilometers north of Poznań . The transmitter Przebędowo, which was listed in most of the tables as "Sender Posen", transmitted on the frequency 738 kHz with a transmission power of 300 kW. It went into operation in 1959 and could easily be received in Germany during the night.

The radio station Przebędowo used a 103-meter-high transmission mast as a transmitting antenna.

The radio station Przebędowo was shut down in early 1998 and the transmission mast dismantled. The buildings of the broadcasting facility are still there. Their use is unknown.
