Scorching machine

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Searing machines are machines that burn the protruding fibers of a textile surface with a surface flame treatment. The fabric is passed over a roller (possibly cooled), where the flame burns either at a certain angle on the roller or freely on the fabric, depending on the thickness of the fabric.

This treatment can be required, for example, for irritation-free printing, because protruding fibers can cause blurring in the printed image.
