history

In the Jubilee Year 2000, the path that Pier Giorgio followed to reach the Sanctuary of Oropa from his family home in Pollone was inaugurated .

The path leads on the back of Monte Muanda past the “ Tracciolino ” to the slopes of Monte Mucrone and ends at an elevation called Poggio Frassati, where an outdoor altar has been built into the rock walls.

Along the route there are panels on which the thoughts and reflections of the Blessed are presented.
