Serge Testa on his circumnavigation of the world

Serge Testa (* 1950) is an Australian sailor who set a new world record for circumnavigating the world on the smallest sailboat in history. Before him, Shane Acton held this record.

Testa broke the record in 1987. His boat, the Acrohc Australis , is 3.6 meters or 12 feet long. The boat was built in such a way that it could be operated from the inside even in bad weather. The boat can be viewed today at the Queensland Museum in Southbank, Brisbane .
