Sergio Chejfec

Sergio Chejfec (born November 28, 1956 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine writer .

Life

Sergio Chejfec was born into a Jewish immigrant family in Argentina and graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a degree in literature in 1989 . From 1990 to 2005 he lived in Venezuela , then he went to the USA. Since 2009 he has been teaching as a "Visiting Writer" at New York University .
