The Severin * s Resort & Spa opened on December 1st, 2014 and has the largest connected thatched roof in Europe with 5,000 m² . It is one of the most luxurious and famous hotels on the North Sea island of Sylt in Germany . The 5-star superior hotel is located in Keitum in the east of the island.

The area of ​​the hotel is 30,000 square meters and offers guests 62 rooms and suites in the main building, 22 studios and apartments in the adjoining buildings, all of which are also thatched. The rooms, suites, apartments and villas are between 40 and 400 square meters in size and have wooden and natural stone floors.

The SPA area is 2000 square meters and connects the five themed areas, the fitness area, a SPA café, private SPA suites and the swimming pool. In 2017, the SPA Manager of Severin * s Resort & Spa Marlis Minkenberg was awarded the Spa Manager of the Year 2017 award by the German Wellness Association at the international trade fair BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF 2017 . There are two restaurants in the hotel, Tipken * s and Hoog, a bar and a wine cellar with over 700 selected wines. Benjamin Zehetmeier has been responsible for gastronomy since the beginning of 2016.

Opening of two new Severin * s Hotels

In July 2016, a second Severin * s Hotel opened on Sylt. The thatched-roof Hotel Landhaus Severin * s Morsum Kliff is located near the Morsum Kliff nature reserve and has 13 country-style rooms, a spa area and a restaurant for up to 70 people.

A third hotel, the Severin * s - The Alpine Retreat in Lech am Arlberg in Austria , opened on December 1, 2016. It is one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World . The 5-star superior hotel has been nominated for the world's best new ski hotel 2017. The hotel offers its guests nine suites, a residence with 423 square meters of living space, a wellness and spa area of ​​415 square meters, a bar and lounge and a Restaurant around star chef Stephan Kriegelstein.
