Sextus Cornelius Repentinus

Sextus Cornelius Repentinus was a Roman knight and Praetorian prefect .

His career led from tax collector ( advocatus fisci ) to several other offices up to the office of Praetorian prefect during the reign of the emperors Antoninus Pius and Mark Aurel . At the height of his career, he received the rank of clarissimus vir . His son was probably Cornelius Repentinus .
