Graz Secession

The Graz Secession is the oldest association of modern visual artists in Graz .

The Graz Secession , sometimes called the Graz Secession , was founded in November 1923. The founding members were u. a. Wilhelm Thöny , Fritz Silberbauer , Hans Mauracher , Hans Wagula , Alfred Wickenburg and Hans Zotter .

The association had 31 members in 2018, during the 95 years since it was founded there were a total of 117 members. In 2018 the anniversary exhibition "95 Years of Secession" took place, for which a catalog was published.
