Shōji Katō

Shōji Katō ( Japanese 加藤 昭 二 , Katō Shōji ; * 1930 [?]) Is a Japanese sociologist and university professor .

Live and act

As an academic student of Yoshio Atoji , Katō was appointed to the sociology chair at Nagoya University. He dedicated himself particularly to the research of community forms and is the most important connoisseur of the work of Ferdinand Tönnies in Japan .
