SHIFT - Living in the Digital World is a weekly magazine on Deutsche Welle's international television station. Each episode examines one aspect of digitization and shows the consequences of change for society and culture.

Since February 2019, Shift has been presented by moderator Roger Ditter. SHIFT is produced in the "Digital Life" section of Deutsche Welle in Berlin and broadcast worldwide. In addition to the German edition, there is an English, Spanish and Arabic version of the program. 200 million households worldwide can receive DW's television programs. In addition, partner stations around the world are adding “Shift - Living in the Digital World” and the foreign language versions to their programs. In addition, it is distributed via live stream and video-on-demand.

The SHIFT broadcast content is also distributed on a German and English Facebook channel. SHIFT is available on YouTube in the English-language SHIFT channel. The social media channels are managed by the editors in the "Digital Life" section.   

Charisma

The 12-minute program reaches all target regions of German international television at the respective prime time. The magazine has been broadcast weekly since February 6, 2012 in a German, English and Spanish version and is repeated several times. An Arabic version has also been available since 2015.
