Shimun XVII. Abraham
Mar Shimun XVII. Abraham (also Simon XVII. Abraham , Auraham , Persian مارشیمون آبراهام) was Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East from about 1820 to 1860.
Its seat was in Qodshanis , today's Konak in southeastern Turkey . Before the attacks by the Kurdish prince Bedirxan Beg , he had to flee temporarily to Iran.
His tomb is in the church of Mar Shalita in Qodshanis.
