Shokukokin-wakashu

Shokukokin-Wakashū ( jap. : 続古今和歌集 also: 続古今集 Shokukokinshū , dt about. Continuation of the collection of Waka from ancient and modern ) is a Waka - Anthology of the Kamakura period that the already detached Tennō Go-Saga ( 1220–1272) was commissioned in 1259 and completed in 1265. The compiler of the anthology was Fujiwara no Tameie (1198-1275), son of the compiler Fujiwara no Teika , with the participation of Fujiwara no Motoie , Fujiwara no Ieyoshi , Fujiwara no Yukiee , and Fujiwara no Mitsutoshi . The anthology comprises 20 roles with a total of 1,915 waka in 10 sections.

The title of the anthology refers to the Kokin-wakashū collection .
