Shinshokukokin-wakashū

Shinshokukokin Wakashū ( jap. : 新続古今和歌集 also: 新続古今集 Shinshoku Kokinshu ., Dt as New continued collection of ancient and modern poems ) is a Waka - Anthology , by the Tennō Go-Hanazono given (1419-1470) in order and was completed around 1439. The compiler of the anthology was Asukai Masayo (1254-1332). The anthology comprises 20 roles with a total of 2,144 waka. Ichijō Kanera wrote the foreword to the anthology. This waka anthology is the last to be produced on imperial orders.
