Go-Hanazono
Emperor Go-Hanazono ( Japanese 後 花園 天皇 , Go-Hanazono-tennō ; * July 10, 1419 ; † January 18, 1470 ) was the 102nd Tennō of Japan (September 7, 1428-21 August 1464). His proper name was Hikohito ( 彦 仁 ). He was a great grandson of the anti -emperor Suko .
He was unable to attend the official coronation ceremony due to financial problems at the court. Go-Hanazono ruled from September 7, 1438 to August 21, 1464. But the real power lay with the shoguns of the Ashikaga shogunate . His successor was his first son Go-Tsuchimikado in 1464
He had two sons and a daughter.
