The Shwe Inn Bin Monastery ( Burmese ရွှေ အင် ပင် ကျောင်း ) is a Buddhist monastery in Mandalay , Myanmar .

description

The monastery was founded in 1895 by Chinese merchants. It stands on an imposing forest of columns made of teak logs and, like the Shwenandaw monastery , is decorated with carvings made of teak. The main hall has a three-tier pagoda roof, the adjoining pavilion is crowned with a five-tier pagoda with an Hti .

A stone staircase with dragon and snake symbols leads to a surrounding porch. Inside there are more teak carvings and a gilded Buddha altar.
