Security assistant

The safety assistant oa safety support (engl. Safety Officer ) describes a function within the fire department and serves the forces in its use secure from possible dangers.

The safety assistant constantly monitors, analyzes and evaluates the operational situation. He is the only one at the scene who has the authority to skip the management levels and issue direct orders in the event of imminent danger . In addition, he develops measures to ensure the safety of the emergency services and suggests these to the operations management .
