Security label

Security label "Void". When you remove it, a lettering remains on the adhesive surface

A security label serves to prevent the manipulation of labels or the opening of technical devices, as well as the prevention of counterfeit goods .

They are available in different versions:

  • Sample film This label consists of a multilayered silver polyester film. When attempting to peel off such a label, a checkerboard or diamond pattern remains on the surface and the label is irrevocably destroyed. Because of the checkerboard pattern, it is also called "checkerboard foil".
  • Void film When you try to remove such a label from the surface, a "Void" lettering (or other text) remains on the surface.
  • Document film The label consists of a special PE film . When trying to peel off such a label, the film tears into small pieces. Reassembly is not possible.
  • Hologram foil These are custom-made and contain, for example, a company logo and a serial number . This makes forgeries more difficult because it is time-consuming to reprint these labels.
  • Sealing label A label is stuck over 2 housing halves. Opening the case would tear the label. "Warranty void if seal is broken" or something similar indicates to the user that the housing must not be opened
  • Foil with safety cut-out The label foil is pre-cut and cannot be removed in one piece after the first gluing, but tears at the cut-out.
